That sounds like a great gig. In my mind, that sounds almost like the perfect rhythm section.....weckl and bona. they seem to somehow fit together nicely (in my imagination that is)
I saw weckl and wooten, although it was cool, they didnt quite blend.
Please post a review after you see it. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Anybody know what song and what album the music is when you enter the richard bona web site. Watching him, Metheny and Sanchez play Bright size life was about as good as it gets!

Excellent! The new Catalina's is nice, not quite as intimate as the old one, but can hold more people. Pretty full house on a Wed night, very encouraging IMO.
Great set, amazing range, from full on rock power to whisper quiet solo sections. Stern's solo spot by himself was very moving, and Richard Bona...WOW. You guys gotta check him out. Weckl sounded great as well, really listening & reacting with the band. [img]graemlins/thumbs_up.gif[/img]
